The Kent Rod & Gun Club's Annual Corned Beef Dinner will take place on Saturday, March 10th at 7.p.m. The price this year will be $20.00 for Adults and $5.00 for children 12 and under. Payment for reservations can be made at our next General Membership Meeting on Friday, March 2nd. Members, family and friends are all welcome!
Our own "Iron Chef McTaro" is already gearing up for the evening. Chef McT has his chosen kitchen staff all picked out so the club is in great shape, ready to cook and serve…Corned Beef, Cabbage, Potatoes, Carrots plus…Colcannon (for those liking Mashed Potatoes ) and loaves of homemade Irish Soda Bread. Hot Dogs will be available for the kids.
Desserts are more than welcome! If you have an item that you would like to contribute to our dessert table, please bring it along for everyone to enjoy!
We'll be setting up tables for the dinner, the night before, Friday, March 9th; if anyone wants to stop by and lend a hand with that, along with helping to give our clubhouse a once-over before the event, please be there by 7 p.m.
We also need a few volunteers for cleanup duty on Sunday. This is a chance to get in some work hours.
Seating will be limited for this event...please get back to me, via e-mail, as soon as possible if you plan on attending; we need an accurate head count to properly plan our shopping.
