Happy 2022!

 

As we approach one more new year, we all hold out hope that we can return to some type of normalcy as the virus pandemic continues its march, bringing one variant after another.  I feel that we are all determined to do whatever is necessary to bring it under control.  And…we will!

 

Our club has enjoyed a great 2021 and is looking forward to an even better year ahead.  None of our accomplishments could be achieved without the support of our membership.  As we always say, our success as a club is about the important teamwork involved with events and work projects; this support keeps the Kent Rod & Gun Club always moving forward.

Fall Club Update

 

We've made it to November and can look back on a much better year at our club, given the still-present COVID issues.  There have been several club events that we all missed-out on last year which we finally were able to have...our member response to each one has been outstanding!  We will keep moving forward and anticipate an even greater year ahead!

Hunting season is in full swing and we hope hunters everywhere enjoy a productive, and safe, season.

Our club recently welcomed several candidates to address our membership, both on local and state levels, and congratulate all who ran winning campaigns.  Each of these candidates brought their visions for responsible growth and development to our community, and state, with a focus on preserving our Second Amendment Rights.

The slate of our Executive Officers and Regular Board Members will remain the same going into the new year; we anticipate a continuance of great club management as well as updates to our club facilities.  Everything we do at the Kent Rod & Gun Club is about...teamwork!

As this year slowly draws to a close, we look forward to our Annual Christmas Pot-luck Gathering on Saturday, December 11th.   Open to club members, family and friends, this will be a terrific evening to celebrate the holiday season!

Summer Club Update!

 

As the virus pandemic slowly, and surely, winds-down as people receive their vaccinations, our club looks forward to resuming our regular activities...at last!  We will definitely proceed with all necessary caution and maintain safety guidelines, as issued by our town, county and state.

In the meantime, there's nothing better than Summer in the country!

Our event calendar is already rolling-along, starting with our Annual Pan Fish Derby in June and the fun of taking the kids fishing!  Regular club work events are scheduled which help to maintain our club, grounds and shooting ranges; our members contribute greatly in getting a lot of hard work accomplished!  Our club is always about...teamwork!

The biggest club event of the year is coming up in August, the Annual Family BBQ which features a huge club favorite...the KR&G Food Throw Down competition.   Overall, a terrific combination of food, fun and lots of laughter that we're so happy to look forward to once again!

And, there's more...the Big Buck Contest, Annual Turkey Shoot, Sight-in Sunday, Family Camp-out and Bonfire and Christmas Gathering!

Yes!  We're back!
